The bridge is of unknown age, it is mentioned in a document in the early 12th century and has been restored in 1116. It must have been huge and is actually much larger than the present day modern bridge.
I returned the day after I took many pictures, and first spotted a fisherman who drifted in a vessel that seemed to be made of old tires on the river. I took some pictures of his labors, then saw a couple of herds of sheep and goats approach. They crossed under the bridge, then moved on.
