For this type of "Hittite King X offering to God Y" relief I refer to my Anatolian Civizations Museum gallery, where you can find many more.
A replica of the rock relief of Fraktin (near Gümüşören village of Develi, c. 78 km south of Kayseri).
This Hittite relief dates from mid-13th century BC. The sculptured rock-panel shows two groups of figures in a religious act. The figures are identified by labels in Luwian hieroglyphs. The relief is about 1.3 meters by 3.2 meters in size.
On the picture: The scene on the left, showing Hattusili III, as read from hieroglyphs above the figure, pouring libation to the Storm God. There is an altar in the middle, with a bread (?) on it. Hattusili is shown with a horned hat like the gods; this may mean the relief was made after his death during the reign of his son Tudhaliya IV.
