Blue Mosque from Bosporus ferry 4837

view map

For some viewers these pictures will be too hazy, but remember, it was on an early December morning, with lots of vapour in the air. And on some pictures the distance is considerable.

We are on course to Kadiköy and see the Blue Mosque and a lighthouse passing by.

I have seen literally 10's of pics of Blue mosque, and this is probably one of the best; I really dont mind about the haze in this one. Who needs more clarity on a timeless piece like this?

We are here to clean up the vapor :-) :-). I will try to show what could be done with this one :-)

Hi again,

I run autolevels all the time, and often decide against it. As in this case. I think that manual editing came much closer to what it was like that day: hazy. I must confess I do not yet know all the tricks in Photoshop, I particularly hope to find the time and start selective editing with layers. Thanks for taking the trouble,

Terrific ! Just small advise, try to run auto levels in Photoshop, you will be amazed by results :-)
