This the former greek not armenian church of the Presentation of Crist into the temple -feast day 2nd of February, later turned into prison and now beutifully restored. And: On the ruins a school for the Greek students called Psomiadios once stood.

It serves as a cultural centre. It sits proudly on an elevated, walled space, in its back and to its side nice houses populate the hill.

I formerly called this an Armenian basilica, wrongly, it now seems.
