I was informed: This beautiful statue is actually a replica of the original that lays on the ground near the village of Fasillar in Konya. It shows the Stormgod, the foremost deity of the Hittites, standing on a mountain god and two lions. It was suggested that the statue was meant to be a part of the Hittite monument in Eflatunpinar but never made it to its destination. Dates to the end of 13th century BCE.
