Antakya butchers

The norms for hygiene are slightly different to ours in the West. Those for what’s a good display also. But read the comment below for which I am grateful.

In 2018 I scanned many slides anew, and edited them again. I put this one in the place of a poorer earlier one.

A good portion of the locals won't eat female mammals. Hence the butcher has to exhibit the testicles till the meat is sold out. That was the message. Only i could see it because it was in my guestbook. i did not know this.
