This is one of some slides that had been waiting to be digitized for well over 20 years. They date from one of my travels in 1992, 1993 or 1996. I was surprised at their quality, and decided to publish them. A major reason is, that they show Cappadocia from before the huge influx of tourists started.

A look from high up on the pile of houses, churches, monasteries that are the most impressivce site. Looking towards the, rarely climbed, flat hill behind the town. If you dare, I advise anyone to go up there, it's a special place.
