There is a huge engine on display, that was taken from a vessel, of which a picture is shown as it enters its final resting place at Aliağa, Izmir. It concerns the Boğdan Khmelnitsky (originally built by W. Grays & Co Ltd at Hartlepool, England in 1954 as the SS Stanpool.
The engine is a 2850 horsepower triple expansion steam engine, believed to be one of the last marine steam engines ever built (by Central Marine Engine Works, also of Hartlepool).
