On the picture: The window in the northwest corner of the building, under the porch, There is a similar and symmetrical placed window at the other end of the porch. Both windows let in the light in the north corner rooms, which were part of the ‘zaviye’ (dervish lodge) and were connected to the prayer hall of the mosque by narrow L-shaped passages.

The border decoration, with 12 cartouches filled with calligraphic inscriptions (in the corners, four of them are completely or partly gone missing) is typical of the early-Ottoman style, which combines grandeur with rigor.
