I was informed "This is called a "Deisis". It has Christ in the center, and St John the Forerunner to our right, and Mother of God to the left."

I am sure your question has been answered many times for this fresco. The center figure is Jesus Christ. The woman to his left is his mother, Mary. The figure to his right is John. But given his somewhat bushy appearance I am hesitant to say John, the beloved disciple. This is the man usually shown in this position. I am tempted to wonder if the figure is instead John the Baptist. What have others said.
