Between the caravanserai and the mosque there was a spot with a small pool (I edited some pictures to get rid of the most offending rubbish that was thrown or blown in), with the remains of a small building on the caravanserai side. I was told that had been a small prayer room, a stone was pointed out as the spot where the mihrab had been. The spot might be idyllic if it had been better kept.
