In June 2008 I was in the neighbourhood, and I can never resist visiting this wonderful mosque, which is situated at a just as wonderful spot. It was still under restoration but I wandered a bit in the garden with its türbes or mausolea, one of them of the sultan Selim himself. The view from here is one of the best in the city, and I couldn't resist showing a few to whet my viewers appetite.
