From the gymnasium a road leads to the stadium and the theatre at its end. A combinatio0n of these two is unique. Building started around 160 and proceeded into the middle of the third century AD. Again M. Apuleius Eurykles seems to have had a hand in some of the building works.

On the picture: Standing at the south end of the stadium, and looking to the north. The stadium is 213½ m long, and up to 83 m wide (it is wider in its middle than at the northern and southern ends). It had a capacity of 13500 people.

Regarding the uniqueness of the Aizanoi theater-stadium complex:
The major (length) axis of the stadium is an extension of the theater’s axis of symmetry; the stage building of the theater is also the northern wall of the stadium, making both buildings strongly connected to each other.
