Probably dating from the second half of the third century AD there is a Roman bathhouse, with a hall that was later used, it seems, as a seat for the bishop. In it mosaics are in place, I found that (or rather a shed protecting the mosaics) closed, so no pictures except some shots from afar.

On the foreground: the frigidarium, with its cold plunge-bath. Large ones were also swimming pools. Usually situated on the north side of the baths complex; sometimes the water was kept cold by using snow or ice, brought in from nearby mountains.
