Beautiful Forsyth Park was created in the 1840s and its beautiful fountain was created in the 1850s. The fountain is similar to those in the Place de la Concorde in Paris and in Cuzco, Peru. An inspiration for the creation of this park was the urban planning in the creation of green areas in Paris - those green areas had different neighborhoods radiating from them.
