Massive, metal lotus vase and butterflies in front of the Great Buddha in Todai-ji Temple's Main Hall in Nara Park in Nara
Butterflies normally have six legs but these butterflies have eight legs perhaps because they are part of a heavenly scene. (See the next photo of a close-up of the butterflies.)
