Akihabara ("Electric Town") is famous for its electronic, manga and anime shops. Manga are Japanese style comic books. These comic books emphasize a variety of topics, such as history, science fiction, romance, philosophy and life themes. It is quite common to see businessmen in suits reading thick comic books in commuter trains. A manga series may become popular enough that it is made into anime - Japanese styled animation.
