One of my favorite things of the trip was going to the Dominion Theatre and seeing We Will Rock You. It's gathered a cult following in its five years there, some people going to see it several times a year. The theatre was nearly full the night I went and contrasting it with going to see a production here, like at Kennedy Center, was interesting. People were dressed far more casually at the Dominion, but that wasn't the only difference. They ate popcorn, drank beer, ate ice cream - all in their seats - while singing along with the music. Great, great fun, and an experience I'm glad I didn't miss. The shot - hand held, at night. Right out of the camera.
The website for the production is here - with all the music on it - and shots of the actors who performed the night I was there. Queen fan? Check it out. http://queenonline.com/wewillrockyou/
