This was a fun store in Camden, just down the road from the open air market stalls where you could buy bags for under 10 pounds, tops and dresses for under 15. A couple was a few feet away, the woman straddling a large broom and wiggling her tongue at her husband while he snapped pictures. The store manager thought they were fun. I, taking a shot of the mannequins, was told "no photography allowed" - a thing I heard surprisingly often.
Camden Market has become a mecca for young people in full goth fashion and tourists who are there mainly to take photos of them. It's become enough of a trend that many of the kids come down there in hopes of spotting a camera aimed in their direction and then demanding payment. Mannequins were less confrontational.
