BHS graduation, the senior class 2005. It was, as it always is, a poignant time. I've photographed graduation for the last seven years. Every year I wonder where they'll be in 10 or 20 years. The speeches are almost always positive, telling them how they can conquer life and the world and that their possibilities are endless. Their faces, unlike most adults, show every emotion so plainly - the excitement, the tears, the look of quiet reflection - some of it all within minutes. And I think about my graduating class waaaay back when and I wonder if that's how we looked to the adults watching us.
Maybe I am naive and silly, but sometimes I still think the possibilities are endless and there is still time to conquer at least one small corner of the world.
