The extent of Blue's injuries are painfully obvious. The spider puncture went clear through his marshmallow fluffiness. (Note how visible his pillow is through the fang mark.) He was put in a sterile environment. Peep specialists came and went, but Pink (wearing a mask to keep the area infection, although not sugar, free) stood by him night and day waiting for some news - any news - of whether Blue was going to survive the spider attack.
Over 24 hours after the attack, Blue lays in the PICU, unmoving.
