The Pump March 3

I drove a slightly different way home and spotted an interesting barn to take a shot of. A pick-up truck was close behind me, so I turned around. I was almost to the barn when a car came around the corner and I had to drive past again ... and pulled into this spot. The old gas pumps caught my eye. Even better than the barn. This is the first of several shots I'll post of these. Long out of use, one even had a birds nest just behind the glass.

That´s very nice oldie-looking picture, Donna! I like the tones very much!

Donna, The harsh lighting and very bleak winter background really adds to the "out of use" feel to this image. Nice shot, serendipity strikes again.

Your choice of coloring or lack of goes well with the image.

I really like that tones in this image as well. They work so well with that old pump. I love seeing old things like that, great caption Donna.

Amazing detail, out of time. The b&w selection and treatment are very well fitted to the subject!

Awesome. The sepia and contrast work well. Gives it a historical field.
