Autumn Pods October 11

Driving home from work at sunset, a flash of white near the side of the road caught my eye. I turned the car around and pulled over. Tucked in all the brown and about-to-become brown grasses and weeds was this single, very white bit of fluff from a pod that had obviously just burst.

Very nice capture. If you see with a little bit of imagination, you can see a little monkey`s face. ;-)

I found alot of thess pods recently. Aren't they a delight? We typically think of Autumn as a time of decline and decay, but look at all the future life that springs forth during this season, sowing the seeds of the next generation.

Nature's equivalent to sticking your finger in a light socket. Nice catch, D.
