This used to be a very plain, dark, half gate on a very sharp 10th Avenue curve. Like most towns with a right angle curve like this, it's called (of course) Dead Man's Curve, though I never heard of anyone actually getting into an accident there. I was struck today by the bright green gate and stopped to take a picture - hoping I wasn't going to be the first Dead Man's Curve fatality.
