Heading east from Dili along the north coast, the road winds around the slopes of the 1,400 m Mt Curi.
The tree are Eucalyptus alba and the savanna closely resembles some on rocky hills in northern Australia (where, however, there's neither an ocean view nor a high mountain to be seen).
