The store sold hardware and farm supplies...imagine that they were still selling farm supplies in the 1950s in Edison Center. Of course Edison High School was just 3 blocks east of the store and it's original name was Miami Agricultural Highschool.

I went to Edison with Mr. Stanley's daughter Marian. The store was right across from Edison Park where I went to Kindergarten in 1950. I remember it had a long porch all the way across the front of the store and you had to go up 2 or 3 steps to get to the porch.
