As with millions he was my childhood hero, I had the honor of meeting Roy and spending about an half an hour talking with him at his musume in Victorville Cal. shortly before he passed. What a neat person, when we talked about Trigger his eyes teared up, as we parted we shook hands and he said his famous lines Happy trails until we meet again. Once back in my car I know that my eyes also teared a bit......
