I recall this as a young kid. I believe it was across from Gulfstream. Don't remember the food but do remember it was very smoky.

I wish I could help on the name, I had eaten there on several occasions with my Mom (who is now 86) and she was of no help either. You are so right the steaks were to die for and so were the onion rings and the place was alot smaller than Cannons. The name Jimmy's keeps coming to mind. This is sooooo frustrating!!!

It was on the west side of the highway and they had good steaks. There was another steakhouse (really small) I'm pretty sure it was Federal near Maule Lake that had excellent steaks and onion rings and I can't remember the name. Any help here?

I believe it is southbound because even number addresses would be on the west side of the road and it seems to me that all the buildings that looked like those in the photo used to be on the west side, not the east.
