Actually, the building might be the same one currently at that address. It is now a strip of small stores, but the area behind the new fronts looks quite similar.

At one time in the 60's it was also known as the Plowboy buffet

I'm pretty sure this was The Granada Seafood House at one time. They a;lso had another location on the Trail around 48th Av.

This was called the Longhorn circa 1959-1962. They had curb service or you could go inside. We used to hang out here on weekends after football and basketball games. The owner used to give my husband a free steak dinner if he scored 10 or more points. We used to dance in the section on the right and the owner used to say he would get in trouble because he wasn't licensed.

I remember when it was called Longhorn. It must have been between 1960 and 1964 or so. I also remember that they always put a ton of relish on the hamburgers! I had to scrape it off! And of course we never left the car.
Does this building still stand? ..... (I haven't been back to Miami in years)

Does anyone remember this was a Longhorn before it was a list of other places...we never went inside...they had curb service!
