This looks like the Lindsley Lumber that was located on NW 79th Street somewhere around
35th Avenue, near (or maybe next to) what was Peoples Bank.

"You can DO it with Linds-ley's help!"
"You can do it... nothing to it....."

Thank you Frankie for your research on the location. That still leaves it up in the air regarding location.

I took a look at the NM location on Google maps. I was wrong on the 90 degrees. But the building shape is still not quite the same as the pictured one. The NM store is now called Jovan Lumber.

And I don't think the store shown in the picture was the NM location. It was more of a 90 degree L shape, not the bat-wing structure shown.

Actually, I think the North Miami location was on NW 127 ST. and 7th Ave.

Thank you Robert! If one more person also thinks the same I'll change the description below the photo.

I believe this Lindsley Lumber is on NW 7th Avenue and few blocks north of 119th Street. If I am correct, the homes in the picture would have been demolished to make way for the construction of I-95.

You're right Jeff and I've changed the location information. Carol City was in the photo's description when I downloaded it and I failed to notice the angle of the center like you said. Thank you for the correction.

Nice shot of a LL, however, this one is not in Carol City. The one in Carol City has the center section at 45 degrees off parallel from 27th Avenue. I worked at the LL in CC in the early 70's.
