Delmar Leon Whittington

WHITTINGTON, DELMAR LEON, 56, born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on March 6, 1948 and died on Thursday, October 7, 2004. Delmar became a resident of Florida in 1972 after graduating from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA. He worked for Miami-Dade County Aviation Department as Manager of Contracts Administration. Delmar is survived by his wife Rosa Whittington; his children, Candace Whittington, Trevis Whittington and Delmar Whittington (and wife Celeste); grandson, Brandon Whittington. Funeral services will be held at Glendale Missionary Baptist Church, 14580 SW 117th Avenue, Miami, at 1:00 pm on Saturday 10/16/2004.
