Connie O'Regan was the Auxiliary Airport Manager at Tamiami Airport (TMB) and the Training & Transition Airport on the Dade-Collier county border when he was promoted to Airfield Supervisor at MIA, succeeding Bob Royster who passed away in 1975 or 1976. Connie and his wife Virginia (Airside Ops Agent and Gate Controller) retired from MIA in 1988 and Connie was succeeded by Willett "Bill" Stubbs, who passed away in 1994.

Connie passed away on October 7, 2011, at a Veterans Administration facility in Port Charlotte, Florida at the age of 92. RIP and Godspeed Connie!
