December 1962 - the brand new Wometco Palm Springs Theatre hosting the world premiere of "40 Pounds of Trouble"

Thank you to Ken Wilde from the MiamiSprings Memories Facebook page for posting this great old image of the new Palm Springs Theatre. Our new theatre had state of the art visual and audio equipment with sound baffles on the sides to improve the sound, new comfortable seating, a smoking area on the upper right side as you faced the screen and other new improvements.
