A bar inside the Jamaica Inn and/or English Pub - can anyone identify?

320 Crandon Park Boulevard, Key Biscayne, Florida

Thank you to Alvin Lederer for posting this image on Facebook.

Can anyone identify the restaurant that this bar was located in? Or was it a shared bar betweeen both restaurants. I was never there so I have no idea. Thanks.

Oh my yes. This was the English Pub. Went here with a group after prom night and for the first time I had way too much to drink, was sick. My parents went there a few nights after that and one of the servers mentioned some teenager was very sick there and they were no longer allowing unaccompanied teenagers. Ewww and that was me.

Definitely the English Pub. I was a waiter at the Jamaica Inn in 1973. The Jamaica Inn was a swanky place. Lorraine was the beautiful Maitre D, there was a horseshoe style bar, demure lighting the ever-present piano player tinkling away the same songs and note for note night after night...the food was delicious, especially the broiled pompano, and the duck...the coffee was extraordinary. I used to hang back by the coffee urns at the end of the evening and sip away...the waitstaff wore tux's...I was just out of college and by day I worked as an announcer at the Miami Seaquarium doing the whale shows...then get into my VW bus and change into the tux and rumble on down Crandon Blvd to the Jamaica Inn...

This Bar was in the English Pub, which I stumbled across in 1969 while on assignment to Miami. President Richard Nixon had his version of Mar-A-Lago nearby and frequented the Pub with his sidekick, Bebe Reboso. And yes, they had their personal Mugs hanging on a designated peg. Quite enjoyable, thanks for posting the photo.
