Thank you to the MiamiSprings Memories Facebook group for posting this great old photo on Facebook. I restored it somewhat for display on this site. The photo appears to depict a grand opening with the crowd in the background and banners on the building. Chalk's started regular scheduled international service to Bimini, Bahamas, in February 1919 (long before Pan American World Airways started their service to Havana from Key West) according to Wikipedia and this was after Pappy Chalk had operated Red Arrow Flying Service in 1917 but shut it down for World War I.
