Thank you to Mark Trembicki for contributing this photo of his Sunrise ticket stub for the Blondie concert on August 1, 1979.
Sunrise Musical Theatre opened with Bobby Vinton on December 29, 1976 and the last concert was by Barry Manilow on April 13, 2002. The 3,732-seat facility was sold for use as a church by Faith Center Ministries. Sunrise hosted many musical and comedy acts during its existence, including Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, The Beach Boys, Paul Anka, Shirley MacLaine, Tony Orlando, Eddy Arnold, Don Rickles, Henry Mancini, Debbie Reynolds, Rich Little, Peggy March, Frank Zappa, Black Sabbath, Marilyn Manson, Johnny Mathis, Blondie and many others who I hope to add in the future.
If you still have old ticket stubs from concerts at Sunrise Musical Theatre please take a cell phone or digital photo of them and send them to me at OldMiamiMemories@gmail.com and I will add them to this site. You will get credit for contributing them on the photo and under the photo. Thank you for your consideration.
