Thank you to Judi Lang for contributing this image of her in front of the Figaro's in Uleta and to Alvin Lederer for posting it on Facebook. Figaro's was owned by Pete and Dorothy Figarada and was a fun place to go. Judi says that she used to go there after working at the nearby Patio Theatre. Figaro's also had a restaurant in the Kmart shopping center in the 1400 block of W. 49th Street (NW 103rd Street in Dade) in Hialeah.

The place to be in the 70's after a Norland football game! Great times, the pizza was tasty.

At one time I lived down the street from Figaro's in Uleta when it was all Unincorporated Dade County and you could have Horses, Cows & Chickens in your front yard. we didn't have Metro Dade County come to your house, it was the Constable and I still have a Badge from a Police Officer that sez Constable on it. I remember the first time I walked into Figaro's and it was dark because on the big screen they were showing Spanky and Our Gang and also The Three Stooges. I hears a lot of people calling out my name and when my eyes got adjusted to the darkness I saw many of my friends and classmates in the restaurant to my surprise and it made my night
