This photo was taken looking west in the far northeast corner of Miami International Airport next to LeJeune Road and the Airport Expressway eastbound ramp from NW 36th Street which is seen on the right side of the photo. The new Airport Expressway ramp replaced the old eastbound ramp that started on the east side of LeJeune Road that caused traffic congestion at the LeJeune Road - NW 36th Street intersection. The new ramp took a portion of the land occupied by former Eastern Airlines Bldg. 16 which housed Eastern Airlines' Flight Operations department (3rd floor) and Commercial Computer Operations (2nd floor) and other offices on the 1st and 4th floors.
