Owned by Federated Department Stores, Gold Triangle was loved by most shoppers and former employees who have written in expressed enjoyment at working in their stores. At the time of this advertisement there were only 3 Gold Triangles operating at the time:
Dadeland,
Skylake Mall in North Miami Beach, and
Plantation in west Broward County

They later opened a store in Tampa, another store in Orlando and the final store on W. 49th Street in Hialeah where they also moved their headquarters offices and warehouse.
