Norm Andresen was a Maintenance Superintendent with the Aviation Department at Miami International Airport for many years and retired in 1992. We attended many meetings together over the years and I called him for assistance numerous times. My last previous visit with Norm was when he was working at the hardware store in Virginia Gardens and Lonny Craven took me there when trying to find a part for something at work after I retired in 2000. I hadn't seen him for about 8 or 9 years and we ran into each other while having lunch at Treats Cafe in Miami Springs.

Update: Norm passed away on February 18, 2016, a couple of months after he flew on an "Honor Flight" to Washington, DC, a program that flies World War II veterans up and back, to visit the World War Two Memorial. Rest In Peace Norm, thank you for the good friendship over the years! My condolences to his family, loved ones and friends.
