Pete Janowitz and his dad behind the counter at Jano's, producing delicious reasonably priced sandwiches, subs and meals throughout the 70's and part of the 80's as I recall. I used to get sandwiches and subs there at least once a week and we bought large party platters from them in the mid-to-late 1970's for parties at our home where everyone raved about how good the food was. There are many people out there who loved Jano's and who still miss having them in business. Publix's sandwiches and subs are pretty good but they would be a 7 compared to Jano's being a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.
