Jano's Sandwich Sub Shop was located in the 1500 block of W. 84th Street (NW 138th Street in county) on the west wing of Palm Lakes Shopping Center.

I used to get sandwiches and subs there at least once a week and we bought large party platters from them in the mid-to-late 1970's for parties at our home where everyone raved about how good the food was. They did one hell of a lunch business because of all the new businesses going up in the area and on the east side of the relatively new Miami Lakes.

There are many people out there who loved Jano's and who still miss having them in business. Publix's sandwiches and subs are pretty good but they would be a 7 compared to Jano's being a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.
