Cynthia and I worked together performing all the personnel and admin tasks at Coast Guard Reserve Aviation Unit Miami from the late 1970's until 1994 when the unit was disestablished. We were both transferred to the Seventh Coast Guard District Reserve Unit from 1994 to 1996 and then to the Integrated Support Command Miami from 1996 until 2000 when I retired. She was visiting Miami for a few days and we had lunch before she returned home to Lehigh Acres on the Gulf coast. The bandage on my right ear is from having a squamous cell skin cancer removed from it two days before. : (
