Thank you to Larry Wall for contributing this great old image of the forerunner to Smitty's Wishing Well at the same location. Larry's mom and dad worked at this restaurant in the 1930's and 1940's and they owned it from 1949 until 1955 when the restaurant in the photo was torn down to build the new Wishing Well restaurant on the same site.
