I was at this home many times from the early to mid-1950's through the late 70's. Herb and Bubbles raised their daughter Mickey here and there were many parties over the years. The home was on a double lot and there were numerous fruit trees on the right side where another home has been built after splitting the lot sometime in the 80's or 90's. After Herb's death in the late 70's his widow Bubbles sold the home and moved to a condominium in southwest Dade. The Jones used to park up to 35 cars in their yard under the trees and in the driveway during football games and festivities at the nearby Orange Bowl and they had regular customers for many years. The home looks rather barren and sun-blasted now that the entire yard has been paved over and the shade trees have been destroyed but that is so typical of what Miami's residents do these days.
