A 12th century church in the tiny village of Angoville au Plain.
In this church, two airborne medics, Bob Wright and Kenneth Moore, set up a hospital and treated injured soldiers
for over 70 straight hours, treating over 80 American, and some German injured.
During the battle that raged outside the church, it changed several times from American and
German control. When under German control, the German troops recognized it as a hospital,
and did not bother it.
