Yellow-faced Grassquit

Las Terrazas, Artemisa Province, Cuba

To say that I'm thrilled with the performance of my relatively new 300 f4 (equivalent to a 600f4 full frame as far as angle of view and telephoto reach) would be an understatement. This is about 1/8 of the frame crop shot hand held. I can't wait to see what I get once I know a bit more what I'm doing when it comes to both bird photography and using the lens.

Stunning capture with the new lens! I was advised to look at the Nikon 300mm f4 for use on a DX format camera like the D500 or D7500, much lighter than my current gear. I'll definitely have to look into it! V.
