As Opening Day fast approaches, I am busy finishing up a few final touches on my costume. For the most part, they are the extras that complete the outfit in ways that few people will even see. Consequently, tonight underneath the presser foot of my sewing machine was the ruffles of my hoop receiving a touch of embroidery that in the end will not be seen by anyone but me and my friends in the parking lot. Just knowing it is there though, makes me content.
