Challenge: New Year's Resolutions

Home, Living Room

Christmas 2005, shortly after becoming a Creative Memories Scrapbooking Consultant, I walked out of my mother's house with an old photo album containing deteriorating photos due to improper storage in a non-acid free photo album. I promised her that I would transfer all the pictures into a new album, decorate it, and turn it into a real heritage album.

I pulled out all the pictures to stop the deterioration and for several months now, they have been sitting in a box. This year, I resolve to finish the album in the hopes of returning it to her for Christmas of 2007. For those of you wondering, those are pictures of my parents when they were children.

Most excellent. She will appreciate it like no other gift. April has kept up with our daughter's scrapbooks to date. She did a wonderful one for her grandmother this Christmas.

So we shall BOTH be refurbishing old photos this year? Girl, there aren't enough hours in the day for hour hobbies! On a photographic note, I like the soft color and montage of the shot.
