During the visit of our friends daughter, we made a point of showing her the countryside and as
much wildlife as we could find. While we were at Roxborough State Park I think she also found it
interesting how I was able to not only see the bigger things but also the little things that mostly
go unnoticed. There were numerous moths, butterflies and some curious spiders and beetles, as well
as the deer and birds. This particular moth flitted here, there and everywhere, but it was the green
eyes that caught my attention. It took about thirty shots to eventually get something acceptable.
I decided on the Coldplay song Green Eyes for the title for no particular reason!!
Honey you are a rock
Upon which I stand
And I come here to talk
I hope you understand
That green eyes
Yeah the spotlight shines upon you
And how could anybody deny you
I came here with a load
And it feels so much lighter
Now I met you
And honey you should know
That I could never go on without you
Green eyes
Honey you are the sea
Upon which I float
And I came here to talk
I think you should know
That green eyes
Youre the one that I wanted to find
And anyone who tried to deny you
Must be out of their mind
Because I came here with a load
And it feels so much lighter
Since I met you
And honey you should know
That I could never go on without you
Green eyes
Green eyes
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Honey you are a rock
Upon which I stand
